Triana Housing Authority Seeks Volunteer Grievance Hearing Officer

The Triana Housing Authority is seeking a Volunteer Grievance Hearing Officer to help ensure fair and impartial hearings for residents with concerns or disputes involving housing services.

This vital volunteer role involves reviewing tenant grievances, conducting hearings, and issuing written decisions based on HUD regulations and local housing policies. The position is non-paid but offers a meaningful way to serve the community and support transparent, just housing practices.

Key Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must not be an employee, officer, or contractor of the Housing Authority

• Ability to remain neutral, professional, and maintain confidentiality

• Experience with legal, housing, or administrative processes is a plus

By volunteering, you will help uphold fairness and ensure residents have a voice in their housing experience.
